Who wears the Red Hat? A few words about me.
“Again the pile of our old suitcases piled up on the sidewalk; A further road awaited us. But whatever, the road is life”.
As a teenager, I read over and over Jack Kerouac’s “The Road”. When I went to journey alone for the first time, I felt what was previously unspecified, but attracted me many times to this book. I think I can define it now. It is freedom and joy of learning about other realities that are taking place in parallel with ours.
When I travel I am sure to not miss three things — camera, notebook and my hat.
My name is Marta, and I am 29 years old. I live in Kraków, where I graduated from journalism and theatre studies at the Jagiellonian University.
I lived in Barcelona for a year and then in Istanbul. In the meantime, I was able to visit several other places. With a hat and sometimes without. I will describe the realities of life in these countries and travel tips related to them.
Last but not least…
The blog has been divided into several categories:
Red hat stories — here you will find travel stories.
Red hat advises — travel tips.
Gallery — additional travel photos.
Notes — free thoughts, reflections on travel-related topics and more.
All set?
So … let’s go!
Marta & Red Hat.
